Michael McIntyre reveals his new Ferrari California

When he was almost a penniless stand-up artist, his car used to be a rusty old Austin Metro. But with the newest tour would earn him a £12million, British stand up act Michael McIntyre’s brand new £150000 Ferrari is quite unlikely to leave a scratch in his bank balance. Clearly very proud of his brand new toy, he appeared very pleased as the comedian parked the car outside his £3.5 million London home after having its sleek matte finish cleaned.

The Ferrari California that has a top speed of 193 mile per hour and could do 0 to 60 mile per hour in just 3.8 seconds, is just the newest in the impressive line up of cars for the comedian. His collection also includes a top of the range Jaguar, a Porsche Cayenne and a BMW X5. This great collection is a reminder of how far he has come in the past 8 years.

In the year 2006, before his big break with an appearance on Royal Variety Show, the 38 year old star was living in a 1 bedroom house in London with his wife Kitty and their kid Lucas. That time, he was £40000 in debt. He was also very tight in money and used an old microwave oven as dining table.

But in the year 2012, Michael McIntyre was said to be the highest earning comedy artist in the world following his Showtime tour that snatched £21 million – out of which he has pocketed around £9.2 million.
